Starole uses the AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor, the same class of chip found in premium laptops from brands such as HP, ASUS and Dell. It includes Radeon 780M integrated graphics, one of the strongest integrated graphics solutions currently available, and can run popular games including Fortnite, Minecraft, Valorant, Apex Legends, CS2, Rocket League, Roblox, Genshin Impact, Baldur's Gate 3, Stardew Valley, GTA 5, Cyberpunk 2077, EA Sports FC 25, PUBG and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Yes. The folded 153 x 112 x 33 mm body contains a full AMD Ryzen 7 8840U processor and a dual-heat-pipe cooling system. The same chip also powers business laptops such as the HP EliteBook 845 G11. Compact size and strong performance are not contradictory - that is the engineering advantage of Starole.

Starole uses a dual-heat-pipe and active blower-fan cooling solution. The ventilation grilles on both sides of the body support sustained heat dissipation during extended high-load use. The design goal is stable, sustained output rather than only short peak performance.

Local 128B models are not currently supported. Models of that size require more memory and computing power than any current portable device can provide.

Through the llama.cpp engine, Starole supports local models including Qwen (4B, 9B and 27B), GPT-OSS 20B, GLM-4.7 and Gemma 4 (27B and 31B). For larger models, the built-in AI app marketplace can provide cloud Token access to services such as Claude, Qwen-Max and ComfyUI.

A laptop permanently combines its display and computer. Starole separates computing power from the display, so you can connect the screen best suited to each situation, including a monitor, AR glasses, portable display, tablet or TV.

As a mini folding host, Starole opens into a full-size keyboard while retaining the performance of a computer and the portability of a laptop. You do not need to carry a separate keyboard.

Through the built-in AI app marketplace, powered by the llama.cpp engine, you can download and run Qwen3 (4B, 9B and 27B), GPT-OSS 20B, GLM-4.7 and Gemma 4 (27B and 31B) locally. Processing takes place on the device and does not require a subscription.

Local mode runs AI models directly on Starole hardware. Data stays on the device, making it suitable for sensitive files, private conversations and offline situations.

Cloud mode uses Tokens to connect to larger cloud models such as Claude, Qwen-Max and ComfyUI, making it suitable for tasks that require more computing power. You can switch between both modes in the AI app marketplace.

Local models are completely free. After downloading, you can use them without limits and without a subscription.

Cloud Tokens use an optional pay-as-you-go model. You are charged only when you choose to call a cloud AI model.

Yes. Claude Code runs through the Anthropic cloud API and has no special hardware requirements. Cursor and other AI coding tools can run normally on Windows 11.

Approximately 10 hours in light office use. Actual battery life varies with workload. Running local AI models continuously will reduce battery life accordingly.

Yes. The 60Wh (16,000mAh) battery supports reverse charging, so you can use the USB-C port to charge a phone or another device.

The folded dimensions are 153 x 112 x 33 mm, about one quarter the size of an A4 sheet. It is 33 mm thick and weighs only 800 g, so it fits in a jacket pocket, small shoulder bag or any compartment of a backpack.

At this performance level, no traditional laptop can provide the same compact size.

It is a design choice, not a flaw. You can connect any display suited to the situation, including a hotel TV, portable monitor, tablet, AR glasses or desktop monitor, without being limited by a fixed screen size or angle.

Most users already own a display. Why carry another screen built into a laptop when you can choose the display you need?

Starole includes USB-A 3.0, USB-C 3.2 (USB 3.2-C) and USB-C 4.0 (USB4-C, Thunderbolt compatible). They support display output, high-speed data transfer and device charging. Most use cases do not require an additional dock.

Yes. Starole connects to AR glasses through USB-C. Screen content appears only in your field of view, so people nearby cannot see your display. This makes Starole a highly private portable workstation for cafes, airplanes and shared offices.

Yes. Through USB-C and wireless display protocols, Starole can connect to multiple displays for multi-screen work without requiring an additional dock.

It uses a scissor-switch keyboard mechanism similar to premium thin laptops. The full-size layout includes F1-F12 function keys, arrow keys and four customizable shortcut keys, L1-L4. The built-in touchpad provides complete operation without an external mouse.

Yes. The keyboard supports Bluetooth mode and can connect independently to an iPhone, iPad, Android phone or any Bluetooth device without interfering with the host computer module.
